Basic Typography
All designs made during our 2-week Basic Typography course in Semester 6 guided by Rukminee Thakurta. Each of them were created and executed in a single day.
Helvetica Typeface Poster: I enlarged the size of the letter H and put that in the background so that I can play with the shape of the letterform and let that guide how I arrange all the information.
Hypothetical Animation-centric Magazine Cover and 4 page layout.
a few thumbnail sketches referring to other magazine layouts, and choosing the layout which works best for the content I want to show.
Posters for the short film 'A Chairy Tale'
First I took inspiration from the font of the title used in the movie itself, because the serif typeface doesn’t give away what kind of movie is truly is and pleasantly surprises the viewer.
I wasn’t fully satisfied with it, so I made a second one taking inspiration from the wacky nature of the movie and playing with the forms of the letters.
Pitch Bible for Laika
Pitch bible for a hypothetical sci-fi channel called Laika. I composed and created layouts for all the information written by Kashish Gupta. Group members: Akuolie, Ajay, Kashish, Sandhra.
